Challenge Opens: August 16, 2026
Challenge Closes: September 30, 2028
Step into the reading tent for books, bakes, and a little creative chaos! Inspired by The Great British Bake Off, this go-at-your-own-pace reading challenge will take you through a series of themed baking weeks, each featuring a Signature, Technical, and Showstopper—with books taking the place of your baking ingredients.
There are no points and no race to the finish. Play solo or with a team of up to four, work through the weeks at whatever pace suits you, and get as creative as you like with your bakes.
Some creations may be masterpieces. Others may have spectacularly soggy bottoms. Both are welcome in our tent. 🧁
You don't have to wait for sign-ups to close to start baking! Once you've signed up and your individual or team entry is confirmed, you're free to step into the tent and begin.
You'll have until September 30, 2028 to complete as much—or as little—of The Great Reading Bake-Off as you'd like.

For weeks, two investigations have been unfolding inside HOB. You’ve studied recovered records, examined enhanced evidence, followed suspicious reports, and thrown some very interesting theories onto the board.
