Use this thread to report spam, technical issues with the site, trouble finding a thread, or for other concerns about the group as a whole. Or if you're just not sure where to put your question, you can post here and a Mod will answer.

For specific questions on games, voting for next year's prompts, etc, you can continue to use the associated threads.

Can a Mod who has access please fix Item 9 on Week 8 Voting thread that went up today? It is last week's item.

Dixie (dixietenny) | 2445 comments No time was ever announced for prompt suggestions that are supposed to happen today -- ??

Dixie (dixietenny) | 2445 comments Also, nothing related to Poll 8 was ever announced on Rules & Introductions.

Generally we get notices when suggestions are open, voting is open, and results are in. No notifications of any of those for Poll 8 were made.

Dixie (dixietenny) | 2445 comments Will we be doing a polarizing/close calls suggestions round this year? We have so many good ones.

We're talking about you. Close calls/ polarizing can always be renominated

They can, but only a few of them are likely to be. If you all decide not to have a poll with these, I'm going to post a list of them in the Wild Discussion to remind people of those they liked so that, hopefully, more will be renominated in the time we have remaining.

If I were around for noms tomorrow I would be re-nominating one from this week's closecalls

Dixie (dixietenny) | 2445 comments Could a mod please confirm when the fall read-a-thon begins? This seems to have conflicting information:

"7. The book must be read during the read-a-thon: September 25 - October 4. Books started before Sept 26 must have at least 100 pages left"

Do we start on the 25th or the 26th? People are discussing it in the Read-a-thon Intro thread.

Sorry, it is Saturday through the Sunday of the next week, so Sep 26-Oct 4. Thanks for catching that, we will update the info.

**It looks like it is only wrong in the Individual Challenge thread. I will ask Pam to correct that one.

Dixie (dixietenny) | 2445 comments Could the Best Books of September thread be posted please?

Best Books was posted early in the summer months, but I don't see that the September one has been posted yet.

If you post too many posts in quick succession, they treat you like a spammer and make you wait.

Oh, I know!

I'll fix 15. We had fun-- Dad didn't love it but he enjoyed it (Christmas presents are hard for a really old guy who is going blind! So I thought theater was a good try)
