Welcome all to this years Wheel-a-thon!

I am Keely and I'll be your captain this time around. I see some familiar names and some new to me names too. Everyone is very welcome :D

A bit about myself. I am from the UK, but I am in the process of moving to Norway to live with my Norwegian husband. I'll start this challenge in Norway, but I travel back to the UK on the 11th September where I will stay for 3 months.
I will read just about anything for a challenge, especially if it gives us good points or works for a difficult task. I have a personal goal this year to read or remove as many of my earliest TBR books as I can and I am close to ticking off a couple of the earliest years!

Super excited for the Wheel-a-thon!! I'm going to be one of your co-captains for the duration of the challenge. Looking forward to getting to know all of you, either better or for the first time!

I'm also, coincidentally, living in Norway, and have been for the past 7 years. I read mostly fantasy, mystery, and classics, but I'm open to NEARLY everything, as long as the cover looks good :P

OOP and my intro lol. Sorry. I'm Amanda from Michigan (EST). I mainly read queer romance of any subgenre! I'll deviate for a challenge, but lately I have so many arcs that it's less likely I'll be able to.

Hi everyone! I'm Melanie from New Jersey, USA (EST) where I live with my husband and our 2 cats.

I primarily read romance (mostly suspense and historical), mystery-thrillers, cozy mysteries, sci-fi, and urban fantasy (no high/epic fantasy for me!). But I'll pick up almost anything for a challenge and I have a decent size book collection to choose from.

Preferably it would be better if you let us know if you are reading for specific tasks so that people know what tasks still need covering. There will be a place for you to add other tasks the book also works for in case we need to do some shuffling around.

Feel free to add books and claiming tasks if you are a planner. If you are more of a mood reader then that is okay too, you can add books once you've started them or when they are finished.

The sheet will auto populate tabs once reference codes have been added.

Hi all! Sorry for the late check-in! I live in Alabama (central) with my husband, 3 of my kids and 2 fur babies. I read pretty much anything, but I've been gravitating toward fantasy more over the past year.

I will attempt to read the first 3 Sullivan books (Theft of Swords, Rise of Empire and Heir of Novron) during the challenge. I won't manage to read through all 17 but we will see how far I can make it.

If someone else wants to read some of the others or also wants to start at the beginning like me, feel free to do so.

I'm really wanting to read the series, but I may have gone a bit crazy at the library yesterday and gotten two other longer fantasy series in addition to a series that I just bought😂
I'll have to see if I get to them, but I'll try to, because they seem great and I'd love to read them with you!

I've never read anything by Sullivan, so I'll try to read a couple. I'll also need to start at the beginning.

Hi, all! I am Preeti and I live in India. My reading tastes are very eclectic, which means I have a never-ending TBR list. I had never heard of the Riyria books but having seen them, I am now very interested in reading them at some point, hopefully during the challenge.
I have added a few books to the sheet and will add more when I am closer to completing them. The plan is to see what tasks need to be covered and find books accordingly.
It is lovely to see so many familiar names. I have had the pleasure of being in the same team with some of you and have seen many others on Goodreads.
I can't wait to start the challenge, best of luck to everybody. And most importantly, happy reading!

In terms of the tracking sheet, I'll likely add books as I finish them as I'm more of a mood reader and marking the book down ahead of time pretty much dooms it to being unread.

I had been visiting the Wheels page every day to see if teams had been assigned, and wouldn't you know it, the few days I get busy are when it happens, and my notifications choose that time to switch off! I was looking at the calendar, and something made me decide to look it up. Must have been all of you wondering why I hadn't checked in yet. 🤭😜

We are just missing Jackie now. Unfortunately, the cut off for checking in will end very soon so unless she is quick, she will be replaced with a reserve player. Hopefully she will join us in time.

I've added a couple of books to the spreadsheet and where they would fit. Will the captain/co-captains decide the final placement for the book, or do you want us to?

Either works really. Wherever they get put initially may not be where they stay as we progress as some shuffling may be needed. Generally, it's better to get harder letters covered first but we have been quite lucky for this first round.

So feel free to add the reference codes if you want, but if not then a captain will assign one.

Hi everyone , Leslie here. I live in Colorado with my husband and dog. My two daughters live nearby and my two grandkids. I may every now and then talk about them. It is awesome being a grandparent.

For reading, I read just about anything. My favorites are Mystery
Science Fiction , Horror and Fantasy. I really don’t read non-fiction. Romance is my least favorite, but will read it for a challenge if I have to. I will try and read the BOM and answer questions , I already have the Frozen River lined up.
