˚⋆⭒ Ani ⭒˚ | 3 comments @Abigail I totally agree. I devoured it !! It was The book that introduced me to fantasy !

Violet Sorrengail | 3 comments Same!!

Sophie_Keefe_Foster {Xaden Riorson Version} | 77 comments I love it too, I've never read red Queen so I don't understand all the contradictions over the 2

Lily Rousell | 6 comments I’m almost finished with the Red Queen and I see some of the similarities BUT, I mean if we’re being real, I feel like all of them are just rip offs of Hunger Games 🤷🏻‍♀️

dani | 11 comments I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCHHHH

varz | 2 comments Honestly I have only read powerless didn't like it so didn't continue but recently I saw YouTuber with whole breakdown of similarities between these two books and are you guys kidding me cos it totally crosses the boundary of being an inspiration vs being a full on copy

the bomb (Leila) | 10 comments I enjoyed it more than the hunger games but it wasn’t my favourite yk

veilonn (veireads) | 163 comments @varz I highkey agree. Also heard the author used ai or something. I dnf'ed the first book cuz of the ICK 😭😭

Sophie_Keefe_Foster {Xaden Riorson Version} | 77 comments Lwkey now kind of scared to read red Queen now...

Abigail Netzer | 33 comments I loved this book series!! What is your guys favorites? Mine is personally Reckless which a lot of people don't like.

the bomb (Leila) | 10 comments RECKLESS ALL THE WAY!!

˚⋆⭒ Ani ⭒˚ | 3 comments Reckless for me too !!!

Abigail Netzer | 33 comments Thank God. I thought I was alone.

Savanna (savannardlc) | 17 comments I loved this series until I found out the author plagiarised Red Queen and the hunger games. I'm pretty sure its been uncovered that there are more she has plagiarised from too. Its not jsut 'taken inspiration' theres literally paragraphs, names etc completely copied straight from others work. I really wouldn't support someone who is profiting off of another persons hard work. Its just wrong ethically and morally. I would highly suggest you look into it on Tiktok, someone goes into very good details on what Lauren Roberts has done, its sickening.

message 16: by Riua (new) - rated it 1 star

Riua | 1 comments I didn't like any of it
1. Paeden was one of- if not the most weakminded, weakhearted, spineless cowrard in the whole book.
2.Her observation skills are lacking to say the least as most of it is just luck and she is so sure of herself being right when she could just be completely wrong even if its the same context.
3. She didn't really do anything the entire series, and only in the beginning she had a goal which she didn't have to actually work towards completing it as kitt handed it to her on a silver platter.
4.Kai is a washed up generic boy-which im sure I could find in a plain romance drama.
5.Otherwise absolute carbon copy of Red Queen

sᴀɴᴀ✮⋆˙ | 4 comments this series was such a let down... overhyped for sure (it's ok if this is your fav <3 reading taste is subjective)
btw, am I the only one who thought Fearless was the worst among the three?

RJ✩ꨄ︎ ( semi - ia ) (rj_queens) | 3 comments i hated it so much lol

the bomb (Leila) | 10 comments Ye I gave it like 2 stars it was so boring like nothing happened until the last 50 pages, and 🚨SPOILERS🚨why did they call their child kitt like wth

Abigail Netzer | 33 comments When I read the books. I read Powerless first than Red Queen and I didn't notice. Then I was told about it but I still really like powerless. I mean I have been listening to the audio books of this series and I don't usually like audiobooks. I don't care what people say. I love this series! I love Red Queen. Can we love them both? I know you might like one more than the other but still.

Abigail Netzer | 33 comments But that's just my opinion. Everyone has theirs.

Sophie_Keefe_Foster {Xaden Riorson Version} | 77 comments I'm gonna try red Queen soon and see what I also think bout it

veilonn (veireads) | 163 comments @Abigail I think people can't really love both bcz of the straight up plagiarism..

Savanna (savannardlc) | 17 comments Abigail wrote: "When I read the books. I read Powerless first than Red Queen and I didn't notice. Then I was told about it but I still really like powerless. I mean I have been listening to the audio books of this..."

Your supporting plagiarism which is straight up wrong, you wouldn't want someone stealing your work and earning a profit whilst they are at it. What you permit is what you promote.

Its not just Red Queen that she's done this to.

Evangeline Fox {it all fell down…} | 13 comments Umm can we just read whatever we want to… Like if you like powerless its completely your choice, If you don’t like it , its also fine no one is forcing you to read it!!!

Savanna (savannardlc) | 17 comments No ones saying you cant read what you want, just openly supporting plagiarism isn't something you will find a lot of backing behind. This is a discussion about the series hence why we are discussing the plagiarism involved with the author and the work she has stolen from and continues to profit off of.

message 27: by veilonn (new)

veilonn (veireads) | 163 comments I agree with Savanna. Imagine you write a book and someone else makes a rip off with a bunch of ai and it gets really popular? Would that be fair to you? Would you sit there and say everyone has the right to read whatever they want or everyone should enjoy both? No. It's as simple as that. Reading and enjoying it is one thing but defending plagiarism and expecting other people to also sit here and be mute about the unfairness of it is simply ridiculous, respectfully. Not targeting anyone personally with this, y'all can enjoy what you enjoy. No one is forcing anyone to quit their interests. Calling out the author and holding them accountable still stands despite your personal opinions about the book.
