So, I have these two people in my book who are suppose to be constantly fighting. There originally was a reason for it, but I took out that plot line for sensitivity reasons and now I need a new reason for them to be fighting, stat!

(Yes there is already fan speculation that they are dating)

Or one made a rude comment and now they fight constantly?

They've known each other for approximately 3 weeks.

Cld be a typical misunderstanding, maybe one of them overhears a half conversation etc and behaves coldly so the other also reciprocates?

Or like the "masks we wear" vibes of how we often make assumptions about others before knowing them well, perfectly done in the book Letters to the Lost

They are both men, both single, living together, completely opposites, and there is a five year age gap.

I could just give post a very heavily censored version of the chapter if that would be easier?

he’s a total jerk and she can’t stand it
he was gunna take her out on a date or like a hang out and ghosted

or the she is a he and scratch the dating part unless their gay

Also I'm only leaving this up for a few days at most.

Girl thats a master piece Im not sure if they become friends in the end or something but they could just be really competitive and one uppers
