1. Naomi Dutta (mixed bag; didn't enjoy her first book. Second book was also so-so)

2. Neal Stephenson. (Has great ideas for his books, but the writing is unpalatable. DNF'd two of his books.)

3. Yashodhara Lal ( I wouldn't say they didn't work for me at all, but weren't that great. Except one, others weren't that bad tbh)

4. Stephen King. The Americans adore his books. Read two of his books and DNF'd both. His detailed writing about mundane things sucks the life out of me. The humor also came off flat.

5. Stephen King for me too. DNFed 2 books after reading only a bit. Something about the writing was off. But having watched many movies based on his novels, they were all very good.
