Cl0udd | 75 comments It’s completely different than middle school!! I Highly suggest getting in slubs and sports, or even student council!
Also don’t forget to study! Grades matter now for colleges 👀(okay idk if freshman grades count but yk what I mean)
But all in all, it’s wayyy better. You have more freedoms, meet new people, and a fresh start.

Oh also lil warning tho, bathrooms are going to be filled with people that will be vaping 3 (no offense to those ppl I just hate it during school)(also that was my school idk if it’s others so don’t get too worried)

☆ⒶⓍⒾⓄⓃ JHZ’s Version♥︎ | 495 comments Don’t turn in work late that is gonna kill youuuuu

🧸 hanniah 🌙 | 1 comments My tips are… if you be yourself, you’ll find real friends, and also make memories because you want high school to be something you remember!!

Karigan Lichtenstiger | 273 comments Started highschool 2 weeks ago number 1 rec is actually engaged with people in your classes and 100% do your homework on time some may be nice others probably not

tirzah :) | 73 comments Have fun and enjoy it because it goes by SO FAST you'll find yourself wishing to be a high school freshman all over again if you do it right

MJ | 16 comments Idk if bullying is still a thing, but if you feel uncomfortable in any way, please, please contact someone you trust, who will listen and take some action.

apple {too busy and yet not} | 24 comments It’ll be stressful for a few days, but trust it gets better (speaking as a freshman 3 weeks in). Also definitely go to football games with friends, they don’t even have to be from the same school, like I’m bringing homeschooled friends. But football games are actually so fun and a good way to get out there! You got this!!

Avery | 9 comments ORGANIZATION IS UNDERRATED organize ur bag and ur stuff and youll feel so much better and motivated

message 16: by mylee (new)

mylee :) | 38 comments And another thing, dont act all tuff at school especially since your a freshman. Idk how it’s like at your school, but literally no one cares abut the freshmans at our school, so don’t act like your all that when literally no one cares not trying to be rude just my experience

message 17: by Aleah (new)

Aleah Saxer | 244 comments Im homeschooled so my advice prolly won’t be that helpful but I do agree with everyone on here and not to scare you or something but freshman year (for me) was really hard (mostly science and math) so make sure to take notes and study, I hope this is helpful

Vannah {Would You Fall In Love With Me Again} Sky (crunchy_cheetos) | 603 comments I mean I'll be a freshman in 2 years hehe but... ADVICE

JOIN CLUBS/SPORTS (I'll be doing theatre or something like that)
DO YOUR STUFF IN OTHER CLASSES (time management)
INSERT YOURSELF (idk what this means but sounds good!)
LEARN YOUR CLASSES AND GET THERE IN TIME(no one like a tardy chickenshit)
EAT LUNCH/BRING SNACKS (you never know)

Deb ~its over before it ends why doesn’t anybody tell | 222 comments If your school offers college classes take them! You get credits for both high school and college and it will save you money, plus it gives you so much more freedom. Same with if there is a work study you want to do or any program the school offers do them instead of any non-required classes since I know girls who got a lot of their cosmetics training done senior year which means they will have less cosmetology school, it’s also a good way to network and looks amazing on applications. Also have a good relationship with your counselor if you are on friendly terms they will be more willing to help you reach your goals even if it means breaking some rules

Jennyyy | 70 comments i just finished freshmen year so heres my advice:
-turn in your assignments on time and build good habits and yes your grades do matter even freshmen year so keep ur gpa high freshmen is the easiest it'll only get harder so just try and keep your grades high

-you're going to lose friends, make new ones, outgrow ones, its completly normal

-things spread FAST so dont trust too many ppl

-make upperclassmen friends trust bc they will tell you all about the good classes to take, ones to avoid, and good/bad teacher, and they can also drive you

-join clubs, sports that intrest you even just a little bit, you can make so many friends that way

-if your school has lockers i totally recomend getting a locker incase you need it to store school projects, your gym shoes or other stuff. even if u know you wont use it, still just get it in case

-be kind!!!! i know everyone says this, but it seriouly is so importanntttt

-ppl vape/do stuff in the bathrooms so just watch out for that

-no its nothing like the movies you dont get shoved into lockers. its honestly so boring i kinda wish a fight would break out just for entertainment

-pack and plan everything the night before so avoid stress in the morning

-WALK FAST IN THE HALLWAYS DONT BE THAT SLOW WALKER

-be nice to ur teachers cause some will round ur grade up

-pack snacks casue you will be hungry trust just pack some

message 22: by angeldiariess (new)

angeldiariess | 77 comments Don’t trust people right away just take your time and get to know them first. Try not to act cool and stuff. Stand up for yourself if something is not going right when it comes to people or teachers. And try not to worry what other people say there are going to be good people and bad people but you just have to be strong and know you are better than all of them. Good luck and I hope you have a good experience💕

Kacy °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ | 14 comments so im in my second week of high school, freshman, and some tips are, always focus in class (obvi) because the work piles up fast, don't join too many clubs, just 2-3 meaningful ones and get involved in a sport you like, and remember high school isn't always bad so stay focused and stay out of drama

⭒.˚esh عِشَل (hyunjin’s ver.)˚.⭒ | 136 comments dont depend on ur friends for help. friends come and go, especially in hs, and it can really make u feel more stressed if that outlet of help is gone
