I’m sorry but I didn’t catch this before.25.2 - Rebekah's Task: All Saints Day
Help Thread
Halloween came from the phrase All Hallows’ Eve. hallow’s Eve is day the devil, witches ghosts and other creepy things can come out for a last hurrah before All Hallows’ Day. November 1, also named All Saints’ Day is a holy day dedicated to all the saints.
Read 1 book for two different options.
The last sentence should say Read 2 books, 1 each from 2 different options. It is a 2 book task

Morning. I've got a published, first published question. I'm sure I've asked it before, but I can't remember where it currently stands.
Tasks (including mine), sometimes have a "first published" option. But what's the status of a book that just has a "published".
For example, what would happen with a book that has only two editions in Goodreads, and both editions only have a "published", and a "this edition published", but no "first published". However, all the dates are the same, 10 February 2026, and I checked WorldCat for this one, and it concurred with a publishing date of 2026.
Can that work as "first published"?

yes as long as its the original date the book was published it can be used.

Thank you. I'll keep a note of it this time!
How many tasks are in the fall challenge? I keep seeing different totals including 42, 48 and 52 on people's totals on the completed thread.I counted 48...is that right?

from the announcement at the start of the challenge:
There are 54 tasks.
The Challenge point total is 920.
10 x 5 points = 50
10 x 10 points = 100
10 x 15 points = 150
10 x 20 points = 200
4 x 25 points = 100
9 x 30 points = 270
1 x 50 points = 50
not all of the tasks are posted yet - so you can't use that as a good count of tasks
I have a question about this direction: If it's not evident from the Goodreads book main page, provide a reference. For this task
20.8 - Nickels and Dimes - Heather(Gibby)'s Task: Fall Transitions
Read a book where the main character or characters are students attending school.
I read: One-Touch Pass The MCs are college students, attending (fictional) South Carolina University.
The name of the series is SCU hockey -- book 1 of the series, Shots on Net, makes clear that SCU stands for South Carolina University.
Is this an acceptable reference?
Or from AMazon series page
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D...
The SCU Hockey contemporary MM romance series features interconnected standalone stories centered on South Carolina University's hockey team.
Does that work?

Either one of those examples would work.

Thank you Dee :)
Can the Mods take a look at 25.2 and confirm how task option 2 should be tackled? The creator was AWOL for the first weeks, so Mods made a determination that the creator is rolling back. Clarity on what the task requires would be great!
Thanks
