The Humour Club discussion

I've started a substack where I'm reviewing humorous novels. The goal is to help others find good books from lesser-known authors, so I'm not panning anything. My target sub-niche, though, is a bit narrow so I'm having trouble finding things where the free sample pages inspire me to buy, read, and write a positive review. My specs: a novel, not a joke/gag book; positive humor (not dark, dystopian, overly satirical or parody-ical); fairly recent (2020's) from a lesser-known author; not rom-com or silly family drama or other relationship-based humor. See what I've done? Eliminated everything!
