Ok so i grew up in Christianity than grew out of my faith same for my dad. My mom is a Christopher she believes in God but doesn't believe you need to go to church(plz do not judge my parents) So I kind of am growing back into my faith and would liek to go to church but I feel like my parents will laugh or something idk if they will they are pretty supportive. How should I talk to them about this?

Quick question… what is a christipagan?

Christopagon is kind of like the Samaritan just in the aspect that they don't believe they have to go to chruch to have a relationship with God. Like the whole my body is a temple thing. Just my mom is more in the Christian side of that then Samaritan views

Tbh I would say go regardless and then when you feel ready tell your parents.

This of course depends on age like if you need to tell your parents where you're going every time you leave the house, then don't lie and tell them you're going to church.

But at the end of the day, conviction is a personal relationship between you and God and it's not particurlarly your parents business. But from the context given it doesn't seem like they'd oppose. Churches help people feel closer to God and help with accountability but I don't think it's essential for a relationship with God
