Age category: I would say sixteen and up (it really depends on the individual person’s maturity level and on what they’re comfortable reading)

Draft: I’ve finished it though i haven’t really edited it because I wrote it for fun.

1-3 sentence summary of the story: it’s about the story of Persephone and Hades and the trials they go through to be together in my reimagined version.

Main theme: finding strength when you need it the most and standing up for yourself even when it feels impossible.

Genre: Psychological fiction, Dark Fantasy (there are subplots of political themes)

1-3 sentence summary of the story: Teenage boy with severe mental health issues trying to navigate life in the midst of a brimming rebellion.

Main Theme: Trying to overcome mental health issues and create a good life out of a lot of bad.

Books similar to yours: I don't know. I have never read a book like mine before.

What kind of feedback do you want: (these are the specifics i look for)
1. Are my characters interesting and realistic? (i put a good amount of research into my characters' mental illnesses and want to know if what they're going through is believable.)
2. Is my sentence structure good? (i dislike books with overly flowery writing and would hate to write in the same way im trying to avoid)
3. Is my plot understandable? (my plot idea is kinda vague so im not sure if everyone will understand it)
4. Is my worldbuilding okay? (i leave a lot of things open and unanswered and drop random characters often because i am planning on using all of those things in other books)
5. Does my book stir any emotion? (im not necessarily looking for tears. just something that will make you stare at the wall when done)

I'm pretty much open for all editing though! Anything to get my story to its best form.

One final note, though. Some editors are kinda afraid to make suggestions because they don't want to change the voice of the author. Don't be afraid to make those suggestions PLEASE. I will find a way to work those into my own voice haha.
