Anyone else watching Lanterns? There's 3 episodes out now and I think it's an excellent adaptation of Green Lantern. Tom King and Damon Lindelof are two of the creators which gives it a lot of comic book cred right off the bat. This week's episode was an interesting take on Jon Stewart's childhood.

Besides, I'm not really familiar with the Green Lanterns.

It's on HBO Max in the US. It's only on streaming. You don't need to know anything about the Green Lanterns to enjoy it. My wife certainly doesn't know anything about them.

I would try it, but we're already paying for another subscription. Maybe whenever we cancel that, we'll try the HBO Max one.

Weeks ago I took out my Dark Knight trilogy and Guardians of the Galaxy DVDs to rewatch them all, and I still haven't gotten around to that, nor have I finished my rewatch of the John Wick movies and several others. I'm too busy reading every day to bother turning on the TV during the day most days lol!

We've had HBO Max free since it came out. If you have a certain plan with AT&T, it's included. Or at least, it used to be and we are grandfathered in now.

...Notifications aren't working...but then what else is new. It seems like it's been happening every other day lately.

That's been happening on and off for years and GR couldn't care less. I'll come across an old review from 7 or 8 years ago and find out someone commented on it back then and I had no idea. It's a terribly run site but what other option is there?

There are other book places, but as bad as this one can sometimes be to use, I still think it seems the best to use, the easiest. I already know it, even in its new iterations. I was first here only a few months after it first opened. GR was a very different place back then, had a more intimate feel, and Otis used to talk to people individually. It was very nice....

Also, Amazon didn't own it back then. That's the real determining factor for when it began to go downhill.
