I’ve had a crush on this guy since the start of 6th grade (I’ve liked him for a little over 2 years) I am a freshman rn ik the math don’t add up but my friend started dating him in 7th grade so I stoped liking him. Last year i started talking to him again and I could never fully convince myself that he liked me even as a friend. He is a genuinely nice person so I can’t tell what’s friendship and him just being nice. The last day of 8th grade I was emotional cuz last day of middle school so I sent him a message saying that I’m going to miss him and that he might not give a s**t but I wanted to let him know that I loved having him in my life and that I might be a little weird but I don’t plan on changing (let me know if you want the actual message). I go to a big high school (800 freshman 😬) so I knew I wouldn’t be seeing him unless the universe was on my side. Anyways he texted back…”You’ll think I don’t give a s**t I was genuinely gonna give you a hug I saw you crying. I hope you don’t great things I’ll see you next year” I have no idea what to do I still like him even tho I don’t want too.
