Is anyone else having trouble uploading/replacing cover images? This issue started yesterday. I tried three different times to update a Kindle/Audible edition to match Amazon but I keep getting an error. All three times were for different books/authors. I don't seem to have any issue with anything else though.

This is the error I keep getting when I try to save:

Page Unavailable

An unexpected error occurred. We will investigate this problem as soon as possible — please check back soon!

I get that occasionally. Had it today in fact. Usually, just going back into the edit and trying again is the only way.

We did have issues several months ago with almost every edit causing that error. And I mean every single edit. With the amount of error codes and the mischief that the bots cause, it is amazing the site functions at all.

Hmm...alright. I'll keep trying. I tried yesterday multiple times for one Audible cover but I kept getting the error. Thought maybe it was something to do with that edition so I found a Kindle book by a different author that needed to be updated and got the same error.

I tried again just now with a different Kindle book because it still had a placeholder image but I got the same error. I tried multiple times and nothing so I reverted the cover back to the placeholder image.

And it is not happening with paperbound books correct?

I actually haven't tried with those yet. Well, not lately anyway. I tried once before to update a placeholder paperback cover and I want to say I got that exact error. That was a month or two ago and I haven't tried since. I haven't had any issues with Kindle or Audible until yesterday.

As I said earlier, glitches abound here. The only advice I can give you is just to wait a bit, and try again. You can also contact support, and tell them about the bug.

I had the form ready to go with support but wanted to check with other librarians before I sent it in to see if anyone else was having this issue. Thank you.

I don't know if it is related, but a day or two ago a librarian made an alternate cover edition, and it deleted the old cover.

I just tried it with a paperback that still had a placeholder image and I got the same error. I'll email support to see what they say about it.
