You know when something is nagging at you, and as hard as you think you can't tell what until
eureka I The summer seemed to come crashing to a halt. And suddenly its been September for a few days now.
I imagine everyone is as shocked and busy as me. adjusting. And through it all, reading holds it together, it seems to me.
How are folks doing?

The freight train of September hurtles on, and the reading lamp now gets switched on !

Checking in here at least once a day, seemed like nothing posted.
Today, Thursday I see the comment of Ice dated Monday. Hard to understand how it took 4 days to get here. Also found two comments from end of August posted in whine and cheese. I answered only to be told that I have to be a member of the group to post. I saved my reply and will try again.

For some reason these last messages were only highlighted today, filling in the gaps.
I feel for you both! Sorting at the best of times is finicky, and sorting other people's stuff is such a huge task. I have been ignoring the necessity of getting on with my boxes here, but both posts remind me how crucial.How fortunate Petra that step-dad is feeling 8ok in his new situation.
He hung on for so lontg to his own ways, it's great that he's enjoying the activities in the new place, and possibly the company. Too bad its not closer to you. You have done so well under the circumstances.
Ice how lucky you are to discern your future generations. Without grandkids, Petra and I do not have that particular joy

Off for the weekend to visit the Wine Merchant in Shrewsbury. Tennis 'end of summer; party Sunday evening. Harvesting more frapes on Monday. There is a theme developing at this time of year. Meanwhile The Chillies continue to dominate the fruit cage, garlic picked, onions imminent. Strawberries readying for next year. Sometimes the garden is a book !
