Hi there I'm John Hughes - no not the guy responsible for many great movies (Home Alone, Weird Science, Uncle Buck, Ferris Beuller's Day Off etc.) - I'm another John Hughes from London, UK, who has three novels and a collection of short stories to his credit.
My titles are an eclectic bunch - the novels include a WW2 espionage story (Spitfire Spies), a black comedy about Nazis showing up in 1950s England (Follow My Leader), and the emotive story of a lonely man obsessed with a famous actress (Living With Jo).
The short stories (How to Steal a Piano) range from tales of online dating, through the perils of unabated road rage, to the confessions of a police dog ... in his own words!
