Turning Over a New Leaf
Activities
1. Answer Pre-Readathon Question: Are there particular genres or formats or something else that you read particularly during Dewey's official hours? Give up to three examples.
2. Read somewhere different, even just a different room or on the other porch for 30 minutes.
3. As the year progresses, our read goals often change. Tell us what have you changed this year, something big or small.
4. Post about a new or re-newed topic in your personal thread--could be about the experience you have doing one of these activities.
5. Wear your shirt or dress inside out for an hour as you read.
6. Try a different-from-the-usual snack during official readathon hours.

2. Read a book scarier or spookier or wierder or more mysterious or somehow more book than you usually read.
3. Read a writer's work you have been meaning to try.

5. Read a format you do not often read book-- graphic novel, audio, ebook, paper book, picture book, art book, oversized book.
