Kayleeyah Gosnell | 23 comments if you have no issues with your heart or anything and adhd, drink 2 redbulls (or 1 alani and make sure you're doing the things you need to do 10 minutes after you drink it. You'll be locked in for hours

Dana | 284 comments Thats really bad for ur health.. i don’t recommend that
My studying tips to lock in and i used this alot because im a senior and i have to ace this yr to get into a good college
If you’re studying on your ipad, which i do mostly cuz i watch lectures i put my phone downstairs because i tend to get on it alot and not focus on the lecture, i really recommend making a schedule or to do list. I have a schedule because all of my lectures are on different days like i have physics on Saturday, monday and Wednesday, math is on Saturday, sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday, bio is on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and so on you get what i mean? So each day lets say i have about 5 subjects i get up at 8 and take a 2 hr rest and have breakfast during thats rest and i begin , for instance i have math so i put from 10-12 math ykwim? You put a time limit on each and every subject and my lectures go up to 1h and 30 mins so sometimes I finish everything at 9pm and when my lectures are 1h or so I finish at 8pm which is excellent.

Dana | 284 comments Or you can make a to do list you put a little box infront of every thing you need to study and idk of im the only one i NEED to check all of the boxes, its nice to put a check on every box, and you need to rest. Sometimes i do have my bed rotting moments which is because i used to leave some subjects out so the next day theres a load, which leads to not resting which leads to bed rotting.
Make it like a game, make ur notes look pretty which helps alot because with the colors and the organization it makes you want to read.
I have a board the wood board or something that you can pin some sticky notes on it, i use it but i pin everything that i forget 99% of the time, whether its a formula, a base or a activty in physics etc everything you forget pin it to the board so everytime you sit on ur desk chair u see it infront of you and read it.
And making a notebook with all your mistakes thats youve maken in an exam is an amazing technique, so you dont make the same mistake twice!

Dana | 284 comments Or you can lets say if your close with your family suggest going to ur favorite restaurant or a food youve been craving or any activity but in order to go out you’d have to finish everything.
Ive done it before never locked in like that before in my life haha

Saakshi✨ | 46 comments Highlight your study materials in such a way that every important thing makes sense without u having to highlight everything. I sometimes highlight grammer/ filler words too because your brain can’t decipher words which doesn’t make a proper sentence. Doing all this will actuallyget your reading material reduced by atleast 30%. Makes your work much more easier.
I personally use colour highlighters and sticky notes cuz well i dont wanna open a dull book a few hours before my exam 😭😭

Prisha | 37 comments People usually don't tend to recommend it but it works for me. I like to listen to music in the background while I revise. Tbh I end up ignoring it but music makes the revision more interesting and makes me dread it less. So if locking in is the problem then I think this should help. Though if you get distracted by this, don't do it.
