Some people I edit for prefer to post in a private group. If you want that I can do it.

Do you want this book to be literary? It sounds literary from what you tell me.

You say you don't want flowery prose. Do you want the tone to be more gritty, blunt, anything else?

i do have a private group for my book (i did invite someone who wanted to read my work but she has yet to join.....)

i wrote from the POV of a severely mentally ill teenage boy, but he's not necessarily your typical MMC....so im not look for gritty....

im looking more for raw and emotional. (though not necessarily crying) i want people to be uncomfortable while they read...but not in a "this book is bad" way. more of a "this book hits a little too close to home" way.

yay!! the last person who read the first few chapters DNFed it cuz it was too deep :)
