Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

so my name is nigel wooten, my profile is under that name. I write and published under nigel ray without knowing there was one here already. (ray is my middle name.) This is the same name I use on inkitt.com where all of my work was originally published, and the few readers i have know me. Is there any way you can separate "the temptation of Revenge" and "paradise can wait" and put them under this profile, as opposed to the other nigel ray who clearly does not write fantasy? Also, how can we keep this from happening again, as I plan to bring more of my work to Amazon in the future? Thanks.

You can claim the page using the link at the bottom where it says "Is this you? Let us know." You can find more information about the Goodreads Author program here.

In that form just indicate which books are yours and they’ll be separated out for you.

Unfortunately books are imported automatically to the default page for a name. If you wanted your books to land on your author page automatically you could add a middle initial or name to disambiguate yourself if it’s not already in use.

I will check again, but i did not see that link for the book. I geuss I'll do a search and see what variations of my name i can use. Thanks

My apologies. Evidently I was doing it wrong. I was looking for the claiming link under the book instead of the author. It seems like "Nigel ray" is an unclaimed profile. Sorry I'm new to this whole thing still leaning how to navigate it
