Hi. I am reading The Spring House at the moment, but the edition on my gr shelf can't be rated or reviewed; it seems to have been added incorrectly. Publishers details for the book here https://shop.bl.uk/products/the-sprin... I am reading the paperback, the last page with any words on it is p291. I'd love it if you could add it correctly when you have time. Thanks in advance.

I saw this last night but was too tired to do this.

I just want to check the page count as World Cat shows the page count as 224 pages. Can you tell me what is on pages 225-291 of your copy? Some things we count & some things we don't.

& I'll mention that I will be going away for a few days tomorrow.

I think I will do this, but leave the page count blank until I hear from you. :)

Hi. I wasn't expecting anything quick, especially with the time difference 😊

P222 through to p284 are chapters 25 - 33, p285 - 291 is an afterward by Simon Thomas, then a blank page.

Your edition was already on Goodreads, but not combined with the incomplete record of a first edition you found. I have combined them, changed the publication date to 2026 & corrected to your page count.

The publication will show as the 1st of January 2026 - unless your copy gives a full date of publication.

Asquith's book records are a bit of a mess. I've added them to my to-do list but it will be a while before I get to them. :)
