Sci-fi and Heroic Fantasy discussion

Hi all, Steve Woh here.

I'm a medical doctor turned corporate advisor, now nearing the end of my career. I had finally decided to revisit the arts which I had all but abandoned in my youth, and by some turns of fate, I chose to do it by independently publishing a speculative hard sci-fi thriller adventure.

The Aetherion Saga is a limited series about the discovery of a fifth dimension governing the laws of spacetime and quantum theory under a single principle. The central idea is to provoke thoughts about how humanity would react when the power to change reality becomes accessible, and to what end that might bring.

Dozens of queries were made, and versions of feedback alluding to the story being "too niched", "intellectually heavy", and "intelligent but not for casual readers" were returned. I then decided to publish on Amazon, with Book One launched in March. Critically acclaimed, but suboptimally discovered.

Book Two has just launched this week.

If you're into sci-fi that's exactly what the literary agents and publishers said about mine, or just curious, do check out my books and my Substack https://substack.com/@stevewoh.

AETHERION: EMERGENCE for Kindle is now going at $0.99 in conjunction with the launch of AETHERION: ASCENDANCE Don't miss this window!

Your book sounds very interesting. I especially like the idea of incorporating theories such as quantum mechanics. I try to incorporate real world ideas/theories into my fiction as well. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment. I'm always fascinated by the spacetime and quantum theories breaking down at the extremes so this is my attempt to propose a fictional concept to unify them.
