I started reading it. I’m scared hehe 😱🤦🏻‍♀️

Starting after I finish Kokoro…

Ok! (:

Just finished it. I wait for u to read it to share our thoughts 😈

Just finished Kokoro so I hope to start on Ringu tonight. Any quakes you feel is probably me hinding under the covers…

Haha, good reading Jack! 🤓

Finished part 1, I like how our primary character is an investigative journalist.

Alison, one of our senior moderators, talked about Ring in her most recent podcast here: https://readjapaneseliterature.com/Po...

The episode is about the Japanese horror genre, its literature, and its roots.

Disclosure, I am a supporter of her podcast series. -Jack

I am on part 3 now, the longest section of Ring. The reporter goes for outside help at this point. It reminds me of the plot devices used by Uketsu’s contemporary novels..

Me too! I thought about Uketsu’s novels and the main character asking for help from his friend.

(Sorry Jack, I left a comment on ur status update instead of writing here 💁🏻‍♀️)
