If Only... discussion

If only you and I lived in a world where dragons existed, where people could fly, where rivers could speak, or where humans were ten feet tall! I want to see your imaginations at play. Create a post, describing what your world would be like "If only" things you dream about truly existed!

If only there were a world where humans could co-exist with intelligent creatures, such as dragons or gryphons. Each creature could speak, and could become a life companion.

If only magic existed, where with one touch of a finger you could turn a chair into a throne, or a twig into a tree.

If only there was a world where people did not aim to hurt each other, that people could work together and be progressive, and make life worth living.

If only.

If only there was a world where I could meet the people and places I can only dream of. Where the characters of the books I absorb with my mind and heart would be flesh, and I could shake their hands and speak their tongues and they would call me friend.

If only I could be taught in real life by alchemists and dragons, wizards and warriors, thieves and kings.

If only there were a world where we could stop burning and banning books.

If only! I totally agree with you, Victoria! What an amazing world that would be.

If only there were a world where all significant figures from history or even from imagination were all alive, and surrounded you with knowledge and kindness. If only you could spend time with them and learn their secrets...

If only there was a place where people could live in harmony with nature and animals.
If only I could pet a wolf without the worry of disease and being attacked.

If only! Your world sounds great. And I do know people with pet wolves. it can really happen! Just search for a wolf shelter, many are adoptable. :)

If only you could just snap your fingers and make food appear... I'd never leave the house! But then we'd all be fat... okay nevermind.

If only we realized that these worlds do exist, both in our minds and on other planes of existence.
If only we could all learn to see the "real" world around us, not this technological nightmare we have created.
If only we realized that dragons do exist upon this world we live on. There are all kinds of Dragons. We have Water Dragons, Flying Dragons, Bearded Dragons, Angle headed Dragons, Hump-Head Dragons, Sea Dragons, Frilled Dragons, and of course, the most feared of all Dragons, the mighty Komodo!!!

If only we realized there is magic in this world and that all we have to do is learn to harness it's power.

If only we hadn't pulled ourselves out of touch with the "Real" world.
