I assumed its appeal was that it was a romance packaged in vampires, to make it "cool." However, at least a good third of the Twilight readers at O. Henry are males. I think it's because guys at O. Henry are cool! : )Ms. S.
I loved the trilogy and cannot wait for the fourth! If they were really "girly books," I think there would be more romance.Like The Lord of the Rings trilogy, there is something for everyone in the Twilight series - -violence, romance, and drama.
