Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hello folks,

This is a recent bug; I couldn't find where else to post it - please feel free to recommend. It is pretty serious because it affects writing reviews - and those new "half stars" might encourage more to do that soon!

On the main page, any book can be clicked to "update status" and clicking "I am finished" launches a review editing page - but this one doesn't work. It launches

other edit review options (say, from "read" books list) launch
https://www.goodreads.com/review/edit/#
(in both cases, actual book number and title replace # and title) which works fine.

Well, okay, "works fine" might be a bit much. On Chrome, I've had three reviews "crash" while typing, saving part of the state at least. Also, I can't see how to select a partial star from that edit page - it only does full stars.

Anyhow, the quick fix to the first problem is to remove the title from the "I am finished" link. The larger fix is to make both work properly, add partial stars, etc.

Again, if this bug report from an out-of-work developer is not in the right place, please move it, or suggest where it should go. By all means, also let me know if goodreads is hiring ;)

We don't even know what book you are talking about.

I've had it happen on three books so far.
didn't think the specific book was important.
I don't see a good link for support.
