We have worked on pre-readathon challenges found on various sites. We have compiled lists of books we most want to read during the readathon. Now we don't want to leave books partially read, maybe not even lists partially read. So let's read on. Together. Here.

Let's talk books for a day or a week more.

🎃🍂🐈

Cathy (cathepsut) | 900 comments Here is my plan for this week:

Less than one hour of audio left, want to finish this today.
🎧 Off the Reservation (The Only Good Indians #2) by Stephen Graham Jones

I definitely want to read this short story this week:
📖 The Year’s Best African Speculative Fiction 2022, “The Travelling Man“, at 54% — I would like to read this one this week, partly because I want to decide if I DNF this collection or not.

I started this one last night, but was too tired, ongoing this week:
📖 We3 by Grant Morrison, 144p., graphic novel.

My full list if here:

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1863 comments Did not get as much done as I hoped yesterday although knocked out four of them. Meant to read more Friday but that didn't happen. So will definitely be continuing in cooldown week.

Welcome Katherine. Sonetimes we do not finish all the books we intended to. This thread gives us space and time to talk about books we do want to finish. We make short comments after we read a selection we finish. It's informal. There are no particular rules, just talk about the books we want to finish and then do.

I really missed something not watching the movie when young. When I finally read the novel this year, I was unable to have any comments other than it was humorous. Maybe in 10 more years I will suddenly understand better.

The Wonderful Adventures of Nils by Selma Lagerlöf
The Wonderful Adventures of Nils (Nils Holgersson, #1) by Selma Lagerlöf
There is nothing wrong with the book. It just did not apoeal to me. And I do not seem to have access to the beautifully illustrated book others mentioned.

This book I Started before the readathon. Now I will try to finish it. It has made me laugh out loud quite a few times.
The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson

I finished reading Blood on Her Tongue on Sunday afternoon.

It seems that my project at work will end today. That means at least I will be able to read a bit on Thursday and Friday, after work. Yey!

I might just read something completely out of my comfort zone:
The Pumpkin Princess and the Forever Night

THE SPINDLERS by Lauren Oliver and THE HALLOWEEN TREE by Ray Bradbury are also children's chapter books about visits to the underworld . Happy Halloween Vavita 😈🎃
