Mystery/Thriller Reading Friends discussion

Jack Reacher has been wandering across America for nearly three decades, but the man who created him has finally decided to stop following him quite so closely. Lee Child introduced the former military policeman in 1997's Killing Floor, launching one of the most successful thriller franchises in publishing history. Now, with the release of Chain Reaction, the author has confirmed that he's stepped away from writing the novels, leaving his younger brother, Andrew Child, firmly in charge of Reacher's literary future.

Interesting - thanks Barry!
“Lee Child was speaking exclusively to Collider in support of Chain Reaction, the latest Jack Reacher novel. Child will also co-write Zero Margin, the first Frances Neagley novel, with Yasmin Angoe, arriving in spring 2027. “

I was on a pretty good tear, reading 1 book and then watching that season on Prime Video. The books kept getting progressively worse. I gave up after season 3. Persuader was the worst book I read that year. Maybe a new author wouldn't be a bad thing IMO.

thanks for sharing that, barry, i read it yesterday and was going to share it but forgot! lol
