So, what's your favorite character? or characters (since I cannot pick just one)?

I like Beka Cooper from Terrier, Diane and Numair from the Immortals series, and Alanna and George from the Song of the Lioness series.

Alanna is the character I go back to read again and again. But I feel that if we ever actually get the next Beka Cooper book she will definitely be right up there.

I really like Neal and always have.
Kel, of course.
Nawat is pretty entertaining.
Raoul--especially in PotS.

Can't think of any others at the moment.

Yeah, picking just one would be torture. I like Kel, George, Raoul, Myles, Aly, Beka, Dovasary, Thayet (in no particular order).

But nothing can beat a talking cat w/ purple eyes.

I LOVE Neal he is my all time favorite, then comes Raoul. As for girls I would have to say Alanna.

Oh, that's so hard. I love all of the Tortall series. But I think my faves go Daine and Numair (these are going in pairs), Aly and Nawat, Alanna and George, Bekka and whats-his-bucket from Terrier, and I think that may be it. Kel is a group all her own.
But Nawat is probably one of my more faves. He's so funny in Tricksters Choice, still trying to phase from crow to man. You think he's a strong, silent, serious guy, until he opens his mouth and says something like "Was he mate-feeding her?" That just makes me crack up.
I love the other side characters too, but there's too many to say. They all make me laugh.

I actually didn't like Nawat as much as I liked that other guy from Trickster's queen whose name i can't remeber.

Which guy the one Sarai(Sp) gets together with? or?

The Carthaki(sp) guy is pretty cool haha. Does anyone like Liam. I have mixed emotions towards him lol.

Liam's pretty cool, but I think Alanna's better off with George. And plus, Liam's a little pver-protective and overreactive. But other than that, he's pretty cool.

Peoples, Faithful is a boy.

I liked Liam and then I didn't and then I did, and then I didn't. He went back and forth for me, but at the end I did like him. He's just not in my top.

Ya, its flip flopped a lot for me too. I wouldnt have wanted Alanna with him but he is still an awesome character ;)

thats a hard choice, but for PotS I have to say kel Buri and Raoul, because kel and I have a LOT in common, and Buri and Raoul give us the soppy romance that I miss in these books. OH I almost forgot: PEACHBLOSSOM!!! minus the vicious brute part, he and my horse also have a lot in common ( but peachblossom doesn't look like a donkey, of course...)

Really, if I had to choose, I'd pick Rosethorn, from the Circle ones. I notice that nobody picks anyone from there.

Of course we do. Or I do, anyways.

... Picking a favorite character from these books is like picking a favorite song. Nigh impossible! But, if I was held at gunpoint, I would have to say either Mistress Cooper or Dovasary. Mistress Cooper is everyone's perfect grandma (which is the role she took in Alanna's life, I think). She is perceptive about her son's work and the happenings in the city, down-to-earth (like when she talks to Alanna about the monthly bleeding), and caring. She also has a slightly regal sense to her.
Dove is just awesome. She is extremely wise (at the ripe age of 12), perceptive, down-to-earth, understanding, just, level-headed, diplomatic, and intelligent. She's not afraid to assert herself when there's a need. When I was reading the Tricksters', the part that still sticks in my head is Dove visiting the villagers in Rajmuat, just talking to the everyday people, learning about business and bargaining for books.

Aly, Bekka and Kel are hands down my favourite characters as are all 'good' characters mentioned in those books. It is so hard to pick just one. Those are just the stories I loved the most, due to the characters.

My favorite characters are Alanna and Kel in the girls group. And the boys my favorite are George, Jon, Neal and Roaul.

Ok girl group for me are Alanna and Kel and in the boys group Cleon,Gary,George,Neal and Raoul.there thats my final choice!

oh and Jon up until the 3rd book.

Oh Cleon! I forgot about him. I so wanted him to end up with kel. But she fell out of love and he had to marry some else which sucks. :P

Definitely Kel, Daine, and Beka they're totally awesome! Maybe Aly too, but I'll wait till I finished the book before making my decision!

I don't think I could chose. I love Kel, Daine, Aly, and Beka all equally.

Thayet has always been my favorite girl. And Dom has always been my favorite guy. I tend to like lesser characters more in books for some reason.

I like Briar, Sandry and Daja from the Circle of Magic series. I love Tris from that same series. Diane and Numair from the Immortals series come a close second.

Tortall: Daine, Kel, Bekka, Dove, and Raoul.

Circle: Tris, Briar, Sandry, Rosethorn, Niko and randomly, Dedicate Gorse. Favorite villains were Aymery Glassfire and Lady Zenadia doa Atteneh.
