Natalie Walker (natalie668) I'm on page 32 of Interview With The Vampire, I've had all of the series for quite a long time, and yet I never read them :/
But, it is now on my list of to-read for 2010 :)

Auroralumi | 131 comments Oh yes your teacher is right! Anne Rice is a great writer! If I was you I would start with the Vampire Chronicles,

1st: Interview with the Vampire description:
Witness the confessions of a vampire. A novel of mesmerizing beauty and astonishing force, it is a story of danger and flight, love and loss, suspense and resolution, and the extraordinary power of the senses.

2nd: Vampire Lestat description:
Once an aristocrat from pre-revolutionary France, now a rock star in the decadent 1980s, Lestat rushes through the centuries seeking to fathom the mystery of his existence. His is a mesmerizing story-passionate and thrilling.

3rd: The Queen of the Damned:
Akasha, the queen of the damned, has risen from a six-thousand-year sleep to let loose the powers of the night. She has a marvelously devious plan to "save" mankind-in this vivid novel of the erotic, electrifying world of the undead
After that there are more but by this time I bet you will be researching it :D

Also check out the Witching Hour if your into Witches.

Brian B Baker (brianbbaker) Start with Interview and work forward from there. I loved The Vampire Lestat, but Blood and Gold is one of my favorites. I love Marius.

Kimberley (trillianne) They are good, very good but can be long winded, worth the time but best to read them in order (I won't repeat but Jen's list is complete). Go for it and indulge for a while.

Auroralumi | 131 comments Yea I agree with Kimberley, it's really long winded but the world she created is so interesting that it’s worth reading every book. She really does surprise you. :D
