Some of the best people I know are from East New York. I grew up in Canarsie and raised my kids in Fort Greene.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn. It has changed a great deal over the years but like you said East New York has it's good people - also phonies and fakes floating around too. I know a lot of people from the Canarise side as well. But very few from the Fort Greene area.
