I got a big ol white root vegetable today from my CSA, we think it might be a turnip, but I'm not sure. What should I do with it? Roast it? Stir fry it? Chop and boil it with some potatoes?

Kevin, I have a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share, so every week I pick up a bin full of whatever is ready to harvest. We also got a wreath this week, and a roasting pumpkin! We're getting a lot of apples these days too.
Last month we got some beer.

Yes. First I had sweeter hold the vegetable for a picture and guess what he did with it. So I had to take control and have him take a picture of me with it.

Dunno, Sweeter drank it. It was a bomber, something festive and dark looking - like 90 Shilling or Fat Tire, I'm guessing.

He says it was the Harvestival seasonal from Fort Collins Brewery.
