There are plenty of ways to do it: you can give a summary of a book without giving away crucial parts or the ending. You can talk about things like tone, style, themes, any alliterations you find etc.
I think that the hunger games was a five star book, the author really sucked you into the plot, it was fast moving and emotional. I really felt like I was right there in the book and that all of it was really happening. I was sad when the characters were sad, happy when they were happy. The plot twists were very interesting and it kept you guessing about things all the way till the end.
and i liked how suzanne collins wrote the book in present tense like instad of i ate the orange it was i am eating the orange
