75 Books...More or Less! discussion

I haven't been very active this year, but plan to change that in 2010! I won't make it to 75 but on average I've read about 1 book/week. 56 so far. Not too bad.

I just finished Wishin' and Hopin': A Christmas Story by Wally Lamb. I really enjoyed it. If you're a child of the 60's it will be a blast from the past with all the pop cultural references. If you happened to go to a parochial school, you'll enjoy it even more. The Christmas pageant at the end is laugh-out-loud funny; it alone is worth the read. Highly recommended.

This year I only made it to 59 books...only 16 more and I would have made it to 75. Oh well, it gives me a goal for next year. And I resolve to become a more active member of the group and actually post the books as I read them :-)

Good job Jan!! Even though you didn't reach the 75 mark...you worked towards it, and that's what counts!
