Well...I don't want friends on here so...
I've realized you like to be mean to my charries PonyGal. (I'm not saying it offensively...it makes it fun. :) )) But yeah...I noticed that.

Yes - I have been on Backyard Chickens. Another great website is My Pet Chicken. There is a spot to help you find what breed would be best for you under the "About Chickens" link on the top of the page and under the second bold sentence is a link.
I love BYC! We were going to order our chicks from there, but our Hardware store is doing chick orders.

Hey can everyone join the best chicken group ever!?(Its not really!)
We now have 8 chicks. We got them all from McMurrays Hatchery. We have 2 Wyandotts, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Black Austrolops (sp?), and 2 Buff Orpingtons. They The Wyandotts are 8 weeks old and the rest are all 2 weeks old. We have the Wyandotts outside full time now (we put them in the coop at night) and we take the "babies" out when it's warm.
