Yes...when some chicks get so exausted and can't crack out of the egg...do you help them...or let them wait until they catch their breath and try again.

Yeah, I've heard it can hurt them.

I know, but if they are getting so exausted to the point where there, gasping, wheezing, and coughing, and not moving as much...do you help them?

We used to raise birds. I always helped the babies hatch if they didn't hatch out on there own within a day, then they were helped out. The It was only the geese that needed most of the help the other birds did just fine.
