two books i read that i never finished were the last dragon and the veiw from saturday. for 2 months i tried to read the veiw from saturday. TWO MONTHS!
lolI've been rading Wicked for 3 or more...though mind you I am reading other books at the same time as well
In my opinion, Wicked was a pretty badly written book.
Also, the woman that wrote the Arthas book (A world of warcraft based book) has a pretty horrible writing style.

The play is AMAZING. The book isn't.
And it's not 4 hours... it's like 2 lol
huh. i dont really like her at times. maybe she didnt like it so it seemed double long or the opposite for you.
lol I loved the play personally...and I am now nearly finished with the book...I should be finished by the start of the next symester...if I'm lucky
Hi Aviva. This is just my opinion regarding Mirror Mirror. My personal view is - if someone is going to borrow from or attempt to remake a classic story then they should do it well. I feel that this retelling of Snow White didn't achieve that status in the slightest.
If someone passes you a copy you might want to read a chapter or two and see if appeals to you, but I wouldn't recommend wasting your money and buying it. Like you said there are to many other good reads out there that are better worth your time.
Steve Eriksons Mazalan of the fallen series! Worst books ever next to Breaking Dawn by Stephine Meyer.
I read one of holly blacks books a couple of years ago it wasn't really my type of book either... And I have to agree about the twilight thing though I did like the host.
Lol, true to that. For a book to be well written for me, it needs a good plot line and character development.
Okay. I agree with a lot of those. I should be a hater. But I especially agree that there is NO FREAKING WAY TWILIGHT IS BETTER THAN HARRY POTTER!!!
those real quotes are really sad. I assure you that any liking I had for those books is not like that, just liking it as a book. The Jacob vs. Edward is idiotic. Edward is a freaking vampire. Why would you choose him? Because he's 'awesome'? Don't think so.
Some people read these books over and over again. For me, I don't have enough time to reread books I like.

Wow, Harry Potter is so much better than twilight, definatly. What I hate more than the book are the people that are obsesed with them.
Please, please no discussions about Twilight... eeeewwwww... my skin is revolting with goose bumps and I don't wanna tell what my belly has to say about this series. :-(P
all this lovey dovey shit and sparkling and.... eeewww...
and I hate this part.... the vampires are way over 100 years old and reacting like a 12 year old boy who hits puberty. Didn't they had a life before? Were they frozen in hell or in a convent (since they are virgins after way over 100 years) when they were 13 years old and then after 100 years defrosted so they start as a puberty boy again?
During my life I've read many, many books, but the worst books I've ever read were Twilight.
Seduced by the Wolf by Terry Spear. The characters are both too stupid to live. Seriously. The guy--Our Alpha Hero--gets tranquilized and then argues that he can drive? Only if he's a moron. The heroine gets--conveniently--shot and then wants to go running off into the woods where cops, hunters and wildlife experts are running around. I won't even get into the fact this author knows not beans about wolves then tries to have her werewolves act like animals half the time, rather than thinking people. And the editing is nothing short of terrible. In a word, this book is putrid.I've been struggling to read this thing for two weeks and I just can't finish it.
