Hello. My name is Ashley and I am 23 years old. I attend California State University East Bay. Working towards a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a minor in Sociology. My goal is to become a family social worker. I love to read. I am a total bookaholic. I also love to write. I have one published book. It is a collection of poems I wrote over a period of a few years. I plan to start writing a novel.

Hi there,I'm a movie script writer by profession but would like to move back into novel writing if I had the time and space - and if I could find an agent to represent the stuff I've already written.
I mainly work in the genre of crime but with a social or political edge. I'll elaborate on this shortly but at the moment have just got back from work (I teach a University course in filmmaking that I also designed) and am absouktely knackered.

Thanks for the fruitcakes and hugs...This morning, I'm writing a commissioned film script for a veteran punk rock artist from the 1970s and work shopping two film scripts of my own during the breaks. One is set in Glasgow and the other in Afghanistan. After Christmas, I'm a week in Spain in holiday getting back to grips with novel writing after being badly burned in the past. This time it's Sherlock Holmes' one time associate, Inspector Lestrard in an Edwardian crime drama.

Even though everyone knows poems dont necessarily have to rhyme, i find it hard to love my poems when they dont :D
