This is my first experience with a Jane Austen-inspired book that mixes a fantasy plot within. I thought it was pretty creative and had a refreshing feel to it. What are other thoughts on this? How did this compare to the Austen continuation mystery we've discussed this month also?

I've just about finished with the book. Been thinking about why I liked it enough to buy it.

I really liked this book. It is rather fantastical, but if it were true then I feel that Jane and Darcy would have behaved as they did.

When I read a JA-inspired book I want a story that doesn't insult me or malign my favorite JA characters. This book fits these criteria.
