I would love to try and read 150 books over the next year. I tend to read a book and then the very next day re-read it. (I tend to rush through it the first time and pace myself the 2nd.) So fingers crossed for me.

December 17th 2009 - read Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead. -- Rather enjoyed this book, I really like Richelle Meads writing style.

I have a library card but never use it :( I usually swap my books on paperbackswap.com ! I have over 100 books TO read on my bookshelf!! :-o
I think my library card is my new best friend. I live in Hawaii and if my local library doesn't have the book I want they can have it transfered from any of the islands to the local one for me; which I think is pretty cool. I've thought about swapping books; but a part of me isn't willing to let go of the books I have. Lame right?!?

The Uglies series is different, I've never come across anything quite like it. I'm finding it enjoyable. I really want Tally to end up with David, and I don't even know why.
The Midnighters series (also by Scott Westerfled) is amazing too! I don't know he comes up with so many creative stories!!

I love to read and will do so everyday all day if I can. Since the year started I have read 10 books. All of them were good. I particularly enjoyed Under the Dome, The Brutal Telling, The Lacuna, The Hour I First Believed, and Those Who Save Us. Next up is the new James Rollins book and The Water is Wide by Pat Conroy.

Wow! I know not everyone has a life like mine but when do you have time to read all of these? Do you have kids? Do you work (or are you retired)? I love books too but to start and finish 1 in a month is good for me. Of course I have a job, kids, a house to take care of. Just wondering how someone can read a book a day!?!
I don't have any children and just moved back to hawaii where work isn't easy to come by. I hate TV so I read. If I had children and a job this would be next to impossible. :-)

Part of my job allows me to hear books so last year I made a total of 181 reading 121 and hearing 50. My goal this year was 200 but I changed jobs so my tome to read reduced a little and I am so mad that I couldn't make more then 122 this year. Unliku you I love tv so I have to divide ky time between tbe books and tbe tv series and my job and husband and my dog lol...I wish I have more time. Sometimes I say that I would be happy if my job were just read books everyday...dream dream dream
