Glee is one of my newest obsessions! I was wondering if there were any other Glee followers here on Goodreads? The show cracks me up! I can't stop laughing at Sue Sylvester's comments and Rachel's compulsivenes. I love it!

Glee is the best show ever.

I really think I need to watch this show. Apparently it's a must for anyone who loves theatre.

I am totally in love with this show!!! There are only two shows that I watch regularly: Glee and The Office. This past semester I had to watch it on Hulu b/c I had Creative Writing at the same time and I'm taking it again next semester so I guess it's more Hulu for me!

Sue is the best thing ever. She is hilarious. I really like Kurt a lot too.

So I think I saw that there won't be any new episodes til April. Is this so?

Glee is fantastic. I love it.

I'm not sure if I would consider it a particularly good show (more of a guilty pleasure), but I'm completely addicted to it.

Lynn -- new episodes start back up in March. Still a long time, though.

I know, it's gonna be a long wait!

The show doesn't hook me because of its story line...I find that it's lacking in dimensionality there but I am more of a sucker for all the songs they cover and for the witty lines and the way it's written.

Glee is also on Hulu! (with family guy and a gazillion other shows).

BUT I LOVE GLEE!! Me and my roommate are officially obsessed. And considering my name is Rachel, I HAVE to love it. And omg Sue Sylvester is like the one evil person that I just cannot hate. She's so hilarious!

So Glee needs to come back on.

I'm pretty excited for the new season. I enjoy all their songs.

I love gLee, however this is the first show that I’ve watched and hated the leading character. Rachel is so annoying and naïve. I love Sue! And of course I love Kurt and Mercedes because, “Mercedes is black and I’m gay (Kurt), together we make culture.” Haha, that episode was classic!

Rachel is very typical of a high school lead actress. And her character is improving, I really didn't like her at the beginning.

Rachel is over-anxious, I think, but oh my goodness can she sing! Leah Michelle really plays Rachel quite well, since annoying and nuts and over-bearing seem to fit the type of character she is quite well.

Sue Sylvester, on the other hand, needs to have a shrine built in her honor. I <3 her.

No kidding! Her voice is fantastic. I wish they wouldn't use the computer to alter the actor's voices. The call it a "pitch correction". Bleh. For one, that's cheating. For two, most of the performers don't need it.

HA. They definitely need to stop doing that. I took an audio production class as part of my degree requirements for my BA in film, and knowing how they did that just bugs me.

They also need better editors and they need to mix the voices better to bring out some of the back-ups a little bit more. It's one thing to have back-ups supporting a lead singer, but I almost can't hear back-ups on some of the songs on Glee. It bugs me.

If it wasn't for my chosen field, I probably wouldn't even notice anything.

Yeah, I hate the sound editting! The preview of the new season seems very "pitch corrected". Honestly, it's too much like listening to a CD.

I want it to sound live.

Glee is one of my favorite shows I love Sue, Tina, Mercedes, and Rachel. Kurt and Mercedes and Sue make the show.

I really need to watch Glee, I think I would love it. I don't have cable now so I'm kind of limited but it is something I am definitely getting when I move, even though I know it is terribly dangerous I just love the junk.

You could always watch it online.

Hulu puts the episodes up the day after they air on TV. It was my savior when I had stuff to do and couldn't watch online, which occurred for about half the episodes in season one.

I can finally talk with the rest of you Gleeks!! This summer/September the bf and I caught ourselves up and we've been watching!! I LOVE this show! I only started watching it bc you all were talking about it so much and my friends IRL were watching it too and offered to let us borrow it so I decided to! SO GOOD!

I love Britney!! She is freaking hilarious. What is really interesting is that she isn't really even an actress at all. She's a dancer. She was a backup dancer for Beyonce on the Single Ladies tour and she was paid to teach the cast of Glee the Single Ladies dance and then they had the cheerleader position open and she did it! Some of her one liners are hilarious! Between her and Sue I'm always laughing! And I love Mercedes and Kurt! I really just like all of them in their own ways lol Even RACHEL!

So what do you all think of this season so far? Rachel is really bugging me. I feel like she should have matured a bit more. However she is just such a real character, she's very much what like a high school girl would be like.

I'm actually glad that Rachel isn't more mature. She is suppose to be 16, i'm sick of "high school" shows like one tree hill where all the characters act/look like they are 25. That being said, Rachel is annoying as hell.

I love Brittany too! She is really funny, I'm glad she got her own episode, but it was weird having Brtiney Spears on there and not having her sing/dance when all the other guest stars- Idina Menzel, NPH, Kristin Chenoweth did.

lol yeah I find it fascinating that though she's the main character, Rachel is the most annoying. Oh Sue is classic! Yeah there was quite a bit of hype about Britney Spears appearing, the episode didn't really live up to it. I'm so happy John Stamos is in it, love him!

I like John Stamos too. I still think of Uncle Jesse when I see him. :)

I really enjoyed this last episode. I am not a huge Glee fan, but this one was fun. Have any of you seen Stamos sing? The first and third time I saw the Beach Boys in concert he was drumming for them and singing along. I read somewhere that he was pushing the directors to do a Beach Boys episode. :)

Tami, I was surprised that they didn't have John Stamos sing. I LOVED when Uncle Jesse made the music video for "Forever" on Full House. There was an episode or two with the Beach Boys performing with him as well! It looks like he'll be on for most of the season though, so maybe we will get to see him sing after all!

I never really watched Full House. They all drove me insane. Couldn't handle it, but I did like him on ER (for the most part) and I think I did see him sing once on tv, so it must have been Full House.

Do you all think the guest stars are ruining the show? I have seen a lot of comments that people think it will. So far, I have seen the one with Britney Spears, Neil Patrick Harris and Olivia Newton John. I think they did really well writing them in.

I was crying my eyes out that episode. I love Kurt! And Finn is too funny.

Finally caught up on all the episodes I recorded. Not spoilers IMO, but I am not sure Kurt is doing the right thing.

I also didn't feel like the Gwyneth Paltrow episode was too good. It was more bleh for me.

I missed the Paltrow episode but I do agree with you about Kurt, he's doing the right thing.

I love that Finn sang "Just the way you are" to Kurt. First of all, I really like that song, but it was just so sweet that he did that for him!!!

Tami, I agree. But I just feel so bad for him.

Especially since Kurt had (has?) such a huge crush on Finn. I definitely loved Teenage Dream performed by the boys at the all boys school, what I wouldn't give to be a student there *dreamy sigh*.

I feel bad for him too, but it hits a bit close to home for me. My brother had a similar experience in high school (and before) but it drove him to just drop out. I just feel like there is something else that can be done. I have no idea what, if I did I would win the Nobel Peace Prize. :)

I don't know, maybe this will force all the kids to actually see, instead of just being clueless.

I'm just not sure about his decision. He was really only being bullied by that one guy, and now that he's gone things might get better for him.

Did anyone else cheer when Will told Rachel to get over herself? Well, I guess he told them all that, but it was aimed at Rachel first! The rest of the episode seemed dull but that rocked.

I laughed so hard when Will told Rachel off!! She has always kind of bugged me, but recently she's just been sooo annoying!

And is anyone else in love with Blaine (Darren Criss)??? I know he's suppose to be gay in the show but I love him! Definitely my new favorite character!

I LOVED the Christmas episode!! It was so funny, and so touching too! I really enjoyed the song choices too.

When they got back to the Choir Room and Artie was standing there I started crying.

Oh how my brother is actually growing up.

Yesterday we were talking about Glee, and neither of us had watched the new episode yet. He mentioned something about how bad Kurt felt at the new school, and I said that was a good thing because he needed to go back to the other one. He asked me why I thought that and I said that running away from the problem is the wrong thing. I also said that I wasn't sure what the right thing would be. He didn't blow up! Normally, my brother is a bit hot headed. Especially with something like this. I don't think a bully kissed him at school, but he definitely was bullied and eventually just dropped out.

I agree Kimberly, I am growing to really like the football coach.

I love Britney and Kurt made me laugh too. Not so sure about the rest of the show though. Thoughts?

It was kinda an 'eh' episode for me. I feel like they're focusing less and less on the music and more on messages. Not that the points they are trying to make aren't important, but that isn't the reason I like the show so much.

I laughed outloud when Kurt stuck his fingers in his ears and started singing. His face during the talk with his dad was hilarious.

Oh and when Brittany thought she was pregnant and why she thought she was. LOL.

those are exactly my favorite two parts too, especially Brittany's.

I'm so glad the won, and I loved the song Loser Like Me. And Blaine and Kurt FINALLY got together! I've started a countdown by hours to 8pm on Tuesday!
