Could you set a time parameter for the phrase 'new author?' I have three books out, with the first one having been published in 2007. They're 3/4 of the Martian Symbiont series, with the fourth title planned to come out late in 2010.

Your entry will be fine. By new author, I mean those authors who have names that are not necessarily recognizable by the average reader.

I'm searching for a publisher for my series but the first book is written and out there on slush piles. Dragons in the Dark is the name of the series. http://warriorchildren.com is exclusively about the series.
