2010 Writers discussion

Hi-dee-ho there Tay :) I was wondering about the rule of having to start on the 1st of January. What about if you had started a book like, a week before then and you had less than one chapter but that's the one you wanted to use? Especially if you didn't use the whole year, would you be able to use that book?
