Annie's Plain, Old, and Simple Cubi ;)
I should set myself a goal #1 about any group online. I have a tendency to Cyber Suicide.... Should we keep each other from it?

Hi Annie :] Good goals! good luck ;D
IKR? And I figured out how to get the internet working on this dinosaur of a laptop, which just makes it worse. Last year I could write and write because there wasnt a connection.
lol. yeah, my old laptop didn't have internet so i focused a lot more. XD ever since i've gotten this laptop i get distracted all the time. of course, since i have internet on this computer i can also use Write or Die, so it kind of balances out XD
This spectacular amazing website … You set yourself a time limit and a word goal, and then you write in a box thing and it turns red and starts making noises at you if you space out and stop writing. Very useful indeed.Try it out: http://writeordie.drwicked.com/
It is annoying, which is why it works so fabulously. I wrote 3000 words in 1 1/2 hours this morning. :)
omg. I envy you. But since just yesterday I finished the rough draft of Shadows (!!!) I mainly need to edit, and give a couple of my characters more personality.

I finally finished my nano novel Christmas Eve! Hallelujah. But then I decided I wanted to do a rewrite of Fyre . . . what am I getting myself into?

I wonder if there's some sort of group for it - like Anonymous Cyber Suiciders. And a twelve step program. 1. Always sleep before erasing your membership.

Hey Annie 8D That's a mighty fine goal you've got there. I don't even bother myself with editing, >-> being the lazy bum I am.
Good luck :)
yeah, I've been editing one book for a total of 2 years now. It's bugging the crap out of me . . . good luck to you too!
Thanks :3And I actually did write a novel/novella one time, and I was planning to edit it, but once it came down to actually doing it...well, I gave up.
Not much motivation, really, and teh story itself isn't very well written so editing it would really mean writing it all over again, except for a few bits.
yeah. ha ha. Yesterday I decided to re-write about half the book. I think this book might as well kill me someday.

And write, without getting distracted!
Marisol wrote: "yeah I'm going to turn off facebook. Facebook murderers novels. "*sigh* Yeah, everytime I start writing I look up and find myself on Facebook. :(

ha ha, I doubt I would survive.Hey can anyone help me with something?
I have to do an assignment for English about Romeo and Juliet. So Romeo's talking, and he's about to commit suicide and all, and he says this: How oft when men are at the point of death Have they been merry! which their keepers call A lightning before death: O, how may I call this a lightning?. What does the bold part mean? It's driving me insane.
♥ Brigid ♥ wrote: "Marisol wrote: "close the internet. "that's a good idea … maybe i should try it O_o"
How does one do that?

I think he's saying that there had to be something shocking, horrible, right before to force them into suicide. In his case, Juliet's supposed death. But then he feels as though you can't compare Juliet's death to a lightning strike.
That' s my interpretation.

Oh … I should know this. I had to read/interpret Romeo and Juliet in ninth grade.
Well, I'm not sure. But from the context, it sounds like he's saying: He's heard people say that you're supposed to feel happy for a moment right before you die. And he knows that he's about to die, but he doesn't feel happy. The lightning represents that flash of happiness, and he says "how may I call this a lightning?" because he doesn't feel that flash of joy that he's supposed to feel.
… Does that make sense? O_o
Marisol wrote: "Brigid is the master of shakespear interpretation. At least MacBeth..."lol! yeah … i don't think Walking Shadow is the interpretation that Shakespeare had in mind when he wrote MacBeth. lol XD I can just imagine handing it in to my English teacher last year, like, "Hey, here's my final project for MacBeth!" lol

Paige wrote: "Good luck Annie! I really like your goals list, very detailed! :)"Thanks Paige! I had to be a bit detailed in order to keep myself going . . . I have so much editing craziness to do, it's going to drive me insane.
