I got a whole bunch of amateur photos you are free to be inspired of, if you wish (alright, this might just be a way to get people to look at my photographs).Malin's photos

ooh! those are so pretty :]
A Green Mile looks just like this scene I keep picturing in my head! I keep using the area in my stories, too. I've currently got a short story up with that picture explained. That's so cool! :D You're really good at photography.

*more blushing going on*
It's not an exact description, but your picture shows how I basically see the area. I had to add in some flowers and stuff- it was a school project- but other then that, your picture shows what I was seeing in my head. You've even got the little rock in there. :D

Annie wrote: "That is the third time the group picture has been changed. :D hilarious!"I prefer the newest one. Is this changing going to be a habit? I find it quite interesting actually - keeps my attention up (and I got a rather short span of attention).

Sorry about the picture changing, we were trying to find something suitable. I think we're going to leave this one, though. You like?
Malin You can't make the flowers grow where you want, can you? LOL :D Thanks for reading. I would have had a longer story, but my teacher set a word limit, and said that it had to focus on our surroundings, not our character, so I did what I could.

Kenzie wrote: "Mossy Memories is really pretty, too. I REALLY liked Watery Skies, that one is REALLY cool. :D"Did you see the B/W of Mossy Memories? I prefer that one myself. And for Watery Skies - I just can't stop photographing reflections of something in something else. Got a few on/through windows as well. And thank you :)
I don't mean to sound dumb, but what's B/W? :D I really liked them all. A Nagging Feeling was cute, too. How'd you manage to get such a good picture of that squirrel? I just thought that the sky on the lake was REALLY pretty. My brother saw it and couldn't decide whether it was a picture of the sky, or the water, until he saw the little section of dock. :D

We fed the squirrels nuts and took lots and lots of pics - my friend got better ones and she even has some where I got pidgeons all over me and one when I got a squirrel sitting in my lap. I think I'm mostly very lucky - I got no education in art or photographing whatsoever.
Oh, no. I'll go take a look at it.
That's so cool! The squirrel is really cute. I've always wanted to touch one, you know? But they're hard to catch. LOL :D

Whoa, Mossy Memories BW looks WAY different from the original. You can tell it's the same picture, but it has a way different feel to it. Very nice. :D
I had so fun playing with BW and contrast :) I didn't dare to touch the squirrel and I was terrified it would bite me but it didn't luckily...

I don't think I'd ever actually touch one, but they look so cute, I'd LIKE to. :D
Marisol, you have really pretty pictures, too! I love Not a Third, Ice, Rainbow, Lead Foot, Two-Drops, and Book the most. :D How did you get Lead Foot? It's so COOL!

I set my camera to 100 ISO, which would mean it takes longer to take the picture. Then I gave it a fifteen second shutter speed, and waited until a car drove by. Thanks!!
I REALLY liked that one. It looked like you'd animated the flash of light, even though I was sure you hadn't. :D
Marisol wrote: "ah- I don't know if I can compete with those. But here are some of my pictures. Marisol's Photos"
I went there and commented on a few of them :) I wish I could control the shutter speed on my camera!
Wow, Marisol, your pictures are SO cool! You should really become a photographer!! People would PAY to have those photos. They're AMAZING!
@ Malin- I had a point and shoot for two years before getting my dSLR. If you want to be able to control shutter speed but don't care about megapixels, you can get a Canon EOS 10 or 20D pretty cheaply on Craigstlist. @ Adrienne- Thanks! Yeah, that would be really nice... but it's almost impossible to make a living at... I still want to do it someday though. (Photography. Writing. I have impossible goals...)
cool picture. Kinda creepy, but cool. It reminds me of a book that I read when I was probably too young to really understand it beyond the basic plot. It's called The Book of Lost Things.
Kenzie wrote: "The Book of Lost Things was REALLY weird. Did you get that the Crooked Man was Rumplestiltskin?"
Yeah. I forgot about that until I reread it last week. But yeah. :)

One important note, however: If you get the picture from a google image search, CHECK THE WEBSITE. More than once, an innocent little picture has changed into something quite nasty because the URL stayed the same but the person in charge of that URL changed the picture.
