Okay, I have the randomest question anybody on GR ever asked: Does anyone believe that people who have never met each other can fall in love on the internet, e.g. on Facebook/YouTube/Goodreads/MySpace/DeviantArt/[insert social networking site here:]?

Could happen, but bad idea.

As long as both people are totally honest on the internet...yeah, I can see it happening. But I wouldn't reccomend it. I mean, you have no idea if the person you are "in love" with is actually being honest about anything!

I just think, in general, it is a bad idea.

yeah. even if they're being honest, how can you tell if you're really in love if you've only talked over the internet? you can't see their face or spend time with them, you can't really interact with them.

I think the people can send pics to each other and stuff, and some people wo do internet dating end up meeting in real life.

internet dating like on a special site is diferent then meeting somebody on facebook

nope. my life is filled with fun stuff. one of the things i find fun to do is to go hunt for random knowledge. like, did you know that the leading edge of a supercell is called a 'squall line?' a supercell is a severe thunderstorm that can spawn tornadoes or tornadic winds.
