haven't read this one , would love to read your thoughts and opinions on it.

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) Thumbs way up! I love this series. It's sexy, fun, exciting, great writing, great heroes, spunky heroines. And the world-building, and use of mythology is fantastic.

Wow that sounds like a series I'd enjoy. I've been putting these off for a while now. May have to start it this year.

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) I hope you enjoy them, Jael.

I hope so as well. I think I'll put one in for next months challenge.

Megan I've only read one of them, but own 6 or 7. It was good but I put it back on my to-be-read list because I felt like I read to fast and my brain didn't absorb it, lol. I'm hoping to use them in my odd number series challange, something to look forward to.

I think I only own the second book which is probably why I've been putting it off. I'll have to hunt down the first one so I can start it.

Ann aka Iftcan (iftcan) The books can be read independently. BUT. . . They are much better read in order. My biggest complaint about the series (ok, sue me, its petty) is the cover of A Hunger Like No Other A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, #2) by Kresley Cole I mean, come on, look at it--which one is the vamp? The guy who looks likes hes about to bite the blonde's neck??? Nope, its the little bitty, petite BLONDE. Of course, I do have a "thing" about wanting the characters on the covers to look like the descriptions in the book--and, if they are doing something, to have it be related to the BOOK. Sigh, sorry, getting off my soapbox and putting away the rant on covers.

Carolyn F. I've only read A Hunger Like No Other so far and that was okay. Everyone really seems to like Kresley Cole, so I'm going to read a few more books before I make up my mind about her.

Ann aka Iftcan (iftcan) Carolyn--I had read the short story The Warlord Wants Forever before I read Hunger so I had some knowledge of what was going on. But I really did like finding out more about the world. I think that my fav was the No Rest for the Wicked mainly because I loved the description of the immortal treasure hunt. And of course, I am thinking I might have to change my religion. After all--ANY Goddess who comes out of the closet as the Goddess of bowling fashion has GOT to be worthy of worship, right? lol, sorry, but she rates right up there with Anorah--Goddess of things that get stuck in drawers (from Going Postal)

Carolyn F. Ann, I'm reading Kiss of a Demon King right now and I like this book at lot more than A Hunger Like No Other. I'll have to try the other books you mentioned.
