I really liked the Aisling Grey books, but it doesn't look like there are going to be anymore. Am I wrong about that?
She's doing the Silver Dragons now--and Aisling is in that as kind of a "guest star". And I didn't think this was chick lit--I thought it was more in the um, well, its not exactly UF because its not DARK, but since it takes multiple books for Aisling to get her HEA, its not exactly PNR either. Not sure what to call it. But I DID love it.
I would call it the chick lit version of UF. It is definitely UF, but you're right, Ann, it's not dark. It has that light, humorous feel of chick lit which I don't normally like (couldn't get through more than one of the Lynsay Sands Argenau series), but I really enjoyed the Aisling Grey series until I switched to audio and the narrator ruined Drake for me.I've read the first 3 but still haven't quite gotten to book 4.
I read The first in the Silver Dragons series and love it. Aisling does make an appearance in that which made me want to pick up this series. I can't wait to read it.
I'll have to get the Silver Dragons books then Jael. Nichole, I totally agree with you about audiobooks. There have been several I have started because I either like the author or the story sounded interesting but then I can't get beyond the narrator. Either the accents/voices are horrible and/or monotone. I'll remember not to listen to these audiobooks.
@ Ann I put it under Chicklit just for the simple fact that it is a light read. I figure books that have a paranormal theme but are light and humorous are chicklit. That's just my definition of it.
This latest Silver Dragons book seems to be the last in that series. She's going to start the "Light Dragons" (or was it dragons of light??) series for the next book. They kind of lead from 1 series to the next to the next.Ok, spoiler alert for Aisling fans who haven't finished the series.
SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER
CONGRATS AISLING AND DRAKE ON THE TWINS.
@CarolynF ok I must warn you that if you read Silver Dragons but plan on reading Aislinn Grey than you should read that series first since Silver Dragons will spoil you. I didn't know that when i read the first SD book. I'm still going to read Aislinn but now that i know some of the important stuff i can wait on reading it.
