I'm still reading Destined for an Early Grave. I'm half done so I'm hoping I can add it to my 2009 book list.
Well I am currently reading
and
... should finish Dead and Gone this weekend and then am going to start on
LOL @ Ann. I'm hoping I can get back into the reading mode with these challenges. I have a lot of book screaming " Read me Please" .
Wow!! I just finished
and LOVED it!! I could not put the book down!! What a great new author! Very interesting take on vampires and hot, hot, hot romance!! If you are looking for a new author to try Tracey O'Hara is it!! Very strong female heroine and intense and thrilling story!! I'm reading
next.
Today I read a bit of Night by Elie Wiesel. I am hoping to gwt through a bit of my current reads:
Before starting a couple new ones I am looking forward to:
Valorie - is Night's Cold Kiss PNR or UF? And how would you rate it on a "darkness" scale?I finished my re-read of Adrian Phoenix's Makers Song series, finishing with my first read of book 3 which just came out, Beneath the Skin. Love that series, highly recommend it to everyone.
I am now reading Stray by Rachel Vincent.
I left Caleb unfinished. Not bad, just not for me. I started Playing Easy to get antho. These stories I have either read or know of the series. I finished [loved!:] the first novella fea. characters from the Sherrilyn Kenyon B.A.D series.
Kenjii wrote: "I left Caleb unfinished. Not bad, just not for me."Ugh, Kenjii, the whole concept sounds terrible to me. :) Even being the "set in Montana" sucker that I am I think I'll be stearing clear of this one.
Nichole: I am not one to say [a lot:] don't read this. But I just did not get any feelings, hot or cold, from this. So I kept reading thinking I just wasn't used to Sarah McCarty's style. I have too many books to read to think 'meh' about things. Plus. I still have Caine's Reckoning to read =D.
Elvia wrote: "I am reading Frostbitten by Kelley Armstrong now. Only on pg 96 but so far so good!"I've got that book in my TBR stack. Let me know how you like it.
Michelle wrote: "I'm reading Kissing Sin by Keri Arthur. Very good so far and very steamy! "I'm reading that one right now too! I actucally started it the other night, but only read about 10 pages. I've just grabbed my quilt and coffee, so I'm hoping to get a lot of reading done.
Kiss Sin is one of the books I'll be reading for a January challenge. I'm glad you like it Michelles.
well I'm reading it at work during lunch so i read it for about an hour a day and its not enough! i might have to take it home to read more tonight.
Oh boy I love this book. It took me a while to read because of diferring reviews but Steamy Steamy Steamy. I really love Quinn. I need to pick up book 3 quickly.
OK Danielle I must warn you that this book is not the best in the series. This is one of those series that actually get better and more interesting with each book. I felt Darkest Night was OK but by book three, which is Reyes story,( and let me tell you I wasn't interested in reading his story) I was in love!
Thanks for the warning, Jael. I do detect some First Book Syndrome, but I've been reading Gena for a while, so I'm doing fine with it. But I'm glad to know that this book is the weaker one, and they get better. I'm excited to read Reyes, Lucian, and Aeron's stories. I'm curious how she'll work out Paris and Torin's stories.
aww my sweet sweet Paris such tragedy. Torin's HEA seems very very interesting from the glimpses given in DarkestW.

Carolyn - I am almost done and I'm really enjoying it. Falling for Clay more every time he's in a story!! lol
Danielle "The Book Huntress" wrote: "Way to perk my interest!"
One thing I like about Gena's series is that she doesn't just focus on the brother and HEA she gives you clues to the others potential mates. But Paris' story so far almost made me cry. My poor baby!

Thats about all I knew when I read it. I never read any faerie books before, so I didn't know what to expect. It's really good. I don't want to spoil anything for you :)
Great I'm really starting to like books about the Fae. Since you haven't read any before and like this one I think i can recommend The Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr(Y/A) and the Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead. These two are excellent Fae series.

I would say it's more paranormal romance. I'm not sure about "darkness scale" maybe a 5 out of 10 I guess. I really liked it though.
I finished Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men and absolutely loved it! Another hilarious paranormal romance from Molly Harper!! I'm now reading

Yes there are some really good Fae books out there. I really am becoming fixated with Dorian of the Dark Swan series I just can't get enough of him.

Hi Megan. I read Magic Bites last month. Awesome book. I also enjoyed Pleasure Unbound.Syhren, I have the first of the Dark Swan series in the tbr pile. I've been tempted to by the second, but I have so many first books in a series to read right now!
I finished The Darkest Night. It gave it four stars because I enjoyed it. Definitely has a little First Book Syndrome (in a series), but very enjoyable. I just started Soulless. Good stuff.
Hi Danielle. Yes, I've heard very good things about the Kate Daniels series, and so far I am really enjoying it even though I just started! I am planning on reading Storm Born this month as well and I'm not sure if I want to read the second one, Thorn Queen, right away because (while I've heard it was great), I've heard that it ends in a major cliffhanger and the 3rd one in that series won't be out for a while!
Oh I know, I have so many series' that I need to finish before I start another one- LOL- even though I already started Magic Bites!
