I really don't think the world is going to end in 2012. Some huge cosmic change might happen, but the world won't end.

yeah, what laura said. i watched this history channel video about 2012 ad they said it's more likely a drastic change will happen.

We watched a video on the universe and explosions at school. Aparently, the universe will end in one of two ways. The universe will keep expanding until it RIPS APART, or it will reverse and get smaller, until it GETS CRUSHED in "The Crunch".

if we're gonna talk about world ending stuff, the sun's gonna die in 50 BILLION years cuz it'll run out of nitrogen, and in billions of years to come our galaxy could be destroyed by the Andromeda galaxy, which is slowly spinning towards our galaxy.

hilarious? well, we won't be alive then, but still...how culd tht be hilarious? we won't have LIGHT in 50 billion years.

well, with all out fancy schmancy technology, scientists will probably find a way to "fix" the problem

... I think that SOMETHING will happen, i just don't think the world will end. To much has happened for it all to just end. I'm not very religious, but i'm not sure about the whole, the lord coming back, thing either.... i could go either way on that.
